One-to-One Coaching

Practical help applying Stoic philosophy and modern psychology to your life goals.

I’m currently accepting new clients for one-to-one coaching by video call. I’m a former registered psychotherapist and now work as a life coach, drawing on Stoic philosophy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) methods, and other evidence-based approaches to behaviour change. I am a Member of the Association for Coaching (MAC).

What We Can Work On

Coaching is collaborative and focused on practical change. Clients often want help with areas such as:

  • Clarifying goals and priorities
  • Managing stress, frustration, or difficult emotions more effectively
  • Building resilience and tolerance of uncertainty
  • Overcoming avoidance and procrastination
  • Developing better habits and follow-through
  • Applying Stoic principles in everyday life
  • Leadership, decision-making, and personal effectiveness

How I Work

My approach is practical, collaborative, and tailored to the individual. Depending on your goals, sessions may draw on Stoic philosophy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques, mindfulness, problem-solving, and structured exercises between sessions.

Rather than following a rigid programme, we agree on clear goals and review progress as we go. The emphasis is on helping you develop skills and strategies that you can continue to use independently.

Practical Details

  • Sessions take place by Google Meet video call.
  • I’m based in Montreal and normally work on Eastern Time.
  • Coaching is intended for personal development, behaviour change, and related goals.

Coaching, Not Psychotherapy

Please note that I currently offer coaching, not psychotherapy or clinical mental health treatment. Coaching is intended for personal development and related goals.

If you are seeking diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, or help with a serious mental health condition, please contact a licensed mental health professional in your area.

Enquire About Coaching

If you’re interested in working together, briefly describe what you’d like help with and what you hope to get from coaching. I’ll review your message and let you know whether I think I’m a suitable fit.
